FORCE improves the lives of the millions of individuals and families facing hereditary breast, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, colorectal and endometrial cancers. Our community includes people with a BRCA, ATM, PALB2, CHEK2, PTEN or other inherited gene mutation and those diagnosed with Lynch syndrome. We accomplish this through our education, support, advocacy and research efforts. We are dedicated to providing up-to-date, expert-reviewed information and resources that help people make informed medical decisions. Our strong, supportive community of peers and professionals ensures no one must face hereditary cancer alone. FORCE serves as a champion, unifying the community and advocating for awareness, access to care, and better treatment and prevention options.

Our mission is to take bold action to improve the lives of everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer by advancing scientific research, building community, sharing knowledge, and advocating for patients. PANCAN offers: Research: We fund transformative research — everything from early detection to innovative new treatment approaches. Patient Services: We provide information about treatment options, diet and nutrition, support resources and more, and we can answer all your questions along the way. Advocacy: We work with thousands of grassroots advocates to urge Congress to increase federal research funding for pancreatic cancer, and we get results. Community: Be part of our movement! Some people have an increased risk of pancreas cancer. A family history of pancreas cancer can lead to genetic testing that permits understanding and management of this risk. Annual screening with MRI is recommended is selected situations and this screening should be performed in a specialized clinic. If you have a personal or family history of pancreas cancer, you can assess for screening at go.augusta.edu/pancreas
