Georgia CORE is pleased to announce that the Georgia Lung Cancer Working Group welcomed a new co-chair, Dr. Suresh Ramalingam, at the meeting held in April. Dr. Ramalingam serves as the Director of the Translational Thoracic Malignancies Program, and Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology at the Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Ramalingam is a specialist in lung, esophageal and various other thoracic cancers. He is involved in the scientific development of novel cancer combating agents.
