Drew Smith  

Accounting and Financial Reporting

Drew Smith is a financial consultant for Georgia CORE, responsible for general accounting and preparing financial statements. Additionally, he is the director of finance for the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at Emory University.

Mr. Smith began his career as executive assistant to the dean and then senior academic affairs coordinator at the Nell Hodgson School of Nursing at Emory University. He later served as a business analyst for Emory’s Office of the General Counsel. From 2002-2005, Mr. Smith was director of business and finance for the Georgia Cancer Coalition. In 2005, he returned to the Emory campus where he is now responsible for overall budget and financial management for the University’s development office.

Mr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Purdue University in 1995.
