Drew Smith  

Accounting and Financial Reporting

Drew Smith is a financial consultant for Georgia CORE, responsible for general accounting and preparing financial statements. Additionally, he is the division operations manager for the Office of the General Counsel at Emory University.

Mr. Smith began his career as executive assistant to the dean and then senior academic affairs coordinator at the Nell Hodgson School of Nursing at Emory University. He later served as a business analyst for Emory’s Office of the General Counsel. From 2002-2005, Mr. Smith was director of business and finance for the Georgia Cancer Coalition. In 2005, he returned to the Emory campus and his current position where he is responsible for the overall operational management of the office, including budget and finance, human resources, and information systems.

Mr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Purdue University in 1995.
