Representing the community-at-large, Dr. Pippas is the medical director and director of clinical oncology research with the John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Pippas earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Utah School of Medicine. He conducted his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Duke University Medical Center as well as a fellowship in Medical Oncology/ Hematology. Dr. Pippas is a recipient of the National Institutes of Health’s Physician Scientist Award. He is also an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
