Representing the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine in Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Peiper is the Secretary of the Georgia CORE Board of Directors. He is a Georgia Cancer Coalition Distinguished Scholar and Chairman of the Department of Pathology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Peiper has provided leadership in the development of the Augusta-Athens Regional Program of Excellence and the Medical College of Georgia Center for Excellence as well as the statewide Tumor Tissue and Serum Bank Initiative. Dr. Peiper earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
