Representing the Morehouse School of Medicine, Dr. Matthews is a gynecologic oncologist and attending physician at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Matthews currently serves as chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Matthews is Georgia Cancer Coalition distinguished scholar, investigating the role of prohibitin in cervical cancer. Dr. Matthews is an executive committee member of the Stony Brook School of Medicine (SUNY) Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York, where he completed his Doctor of Medicine and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
