Representing the School of Medicine at Emory University on the Georgia CORE Board of Directors, Dr. Lawson is a medical oncologist and Associate Professor of Hematology-Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He is Chair of the Emory Melanoma and Pigmented Lesion Working Group at Emory. Dr. Lawson is active in the ECOG Melanoma Committee and serves as the principal investigator for an ECOG melanoma study. He currently serves as the Co-chair for the Georgia CORE Clinical Research Committee. Dr. Lawson received his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
