Dr. Bordoni is board certified in oncology, hematology and Internal Medicine and a senior partner at Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), Kennestone office in Marietta. He received his medical degree from the National University of Rosario, School of Medicine in Argentina. Medical residency was completed at British Hospital and Medical Center, Rosario, Argentina and fellowships at Emory University School or Medicine in Atlanta. He has a special interest in targeted therapy in lung cancer.

Dr. Bordoni has chaired the Education Committee for the Georgia Cancer Foundation since its accreditation by the Medical Association of Georgia in 2000 to provide CME credits and hosts the citywide GCF Professional Education Series, Meet the Professor.

For Georgia Cancer Specialists, he is the Chairman of Research and Therapeutics, Director for Professional Education, and was the Director of the GCS West Region through 2005; Principle Investigator, GSC Research Program; Founder and Chairman, Annual Atlanta Lung Cancer Symposium. He is also Chairman of the Performance Improvement Sub-Committee, and member of the Cancer Committee, of the WellStar Cancer Program. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the WellStar Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Bordoni is a member of the Cobb County Medical Society, the American College of Physicians, the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the American Federation for Clinical Research.
