Dr. Rodolfo Bordoni is a senior partner at Georgia Cancer Specialists’ Kennestone office in Marietta. He is also chairman of research and therapeutics, director of professional education, founder and chair of the Annual Atlanta Lung Cancer Symposium and co-principal investigator for the Georgia Cancer Specialists Research Program. Dr. Bordoni chairs both the inpatient section of the Department of Medicine and the Lung Cancer Continuum of Care at WellStar Health Care System in Marietta. He has a special interest in targeted therapy in lung cancer. Dr. Bordoni has chaired the education committee for the Georgia Cancer Foundation since 2000 when it was accredited by the Medical Association of Georgia to provide CME. He also hosts the citywide GCF Professional Education Series, “Meet the Professor.”

Dr. Bordoni received his Doctor of Medicine from the National University of Rosario School of Medicine in Rosario, Argentina, completed a residency at British Hospital and Medical Center in Rosario and a fellowship at the Emory University School or Medicine in Atlanta. He is board-certified in Oncology, Hematology, and Internal Medicine.
