The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion (LCRP) was selected in 2007 as one of only 16 original sites to participate in the National Cancer Institute Community Cancer Centers Program and is quickly becoming a national destination for comprehensive cancer care. At the LCRP at St. Joseph's/Candler, advanced technology and compassionate care combine to create one of the most innovative oncology programs in the Southeast. The LCRP is home to a variety of highly trained cancer specialists, high-impact technological screening and treatment, research and clinical trials, community outreach and education, and an outstanding array of services specific to cancer patients and their families. Multidisciplinary medical teams collaborate to offer patients the best oncology care possible, including complementary therapies that offer a holistic approach to healing.
